A 5 year old English boy Oliver has gone missing whilst on holiday with his parents Tony and Emily in France in 2006. In 2013 the boy's father Tony is still searching for him and uncovers new evidence. Ex French police detective Julian Baptiste returns to the case he originally oversaw to help Tony. Through two time periods we follow the two investigations, police and private, and the emotional journey of Tony, Emily, Baptiste and the surrounding characters involved in the case.
